Bryce Wolfe

Chief Executive Officer

Bryce was appointed Managing Director and CEO in 2024, after serving in the role in an interim capacity since June 2023, and having originally joined IXOM as Finance Director and CFO in 2014.

With considerable experience in complex commercial environments across a range of global businesses, Bryce is committed to delivering long term value and ensuring IXOM continues to grow safely, whilst solving our customers’ challenges and ensuring that employees remain at the heart of our organisation.

Bryce is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand, Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments, Member of Financial Executives International, and Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Bryce was awarded the Australian Young Chief Financial Officer of the Year in 2005.

Matt Finkelstein

Chief Financial Officer

Matt joined IXOM in 2017 as Head of Strategy, bringing over 20 years of experience in consulting, corporate advisory and corporate development.

Prior to joining IXOM, Matt has worked in Australia, London and New York in various roles across M&A, investment advisory and private equity, focusing on the resources and industrial sectors.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Chartered Accountant.

Greg Holmes

Executive Vice President – Group Operations

Greg joined IXOM in 2020 with over 40 years’ experience in chemical engineering, leading complex transformation initiatives to drive continuous improvement and achieve excellence in safety, environmental, and business performance.

Greg's global experience encompasses manufacturing and supply, business management, and sales and technical roles in the industrial chemical, food chemical, fertiliser, and commercial explosives industries.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and has attended programs at international business schools including London Business School, Melbourne Business School and Chicago Booth University. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has served as a director on numerous company subsidiary boards while at Omnia and Orica.

Penny Griffits

Executive Vice President – Chlor Alkali

Since 2019, Penny has led IXOM’s largest business unit, Chlor Alkali, with a focus on supplying critical chemicals and technology solutions to water industry, as well as mining, food and beverage and other industries.

Penny joined IXOM in 2016 as Manager – Strategy and Business Development before becoming Head of Commercial for IXOM’s Manufactured Chemicals division, responsible for strategy, sales and marketing, and initiatives such as digital transformation.

Penny strives to build a culture of curiosity, problem solving and openness to change to promote innovation and transformation. She has over 20 years’ commercial and technical experience in technology commercialisation, manufacturing/Lean Six Sigma, business development, strategy, M&A, and general management.

Penny holds a Master of Business Administration from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management and First-Class Honours in Chemical Engineering from the University of NSW, where she held an industry Co-op Scholarship. She is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Nikki Gerling

Executive Vice President – Trading

Nikki has led IXOM’s Resources, Transport, Agriculture, Industrial and Bitumen markets since 2020, driving the bulk liquids and gases and packaged chemical portfolios across all of IXOM's markets and customers.

Prior to joining IXOM, Nikki spent 25 years in the petroleum and automotive sectors. A highly experienced executive, she has worked across roles spanning sales, marketing, strategy, operations, and supply chain management.

Nikki has a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts from Monash University and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She has previously served on the boards of the Australian LPG Association and the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association and is the current President and Chair of the Waverley Hockey Club.

Mark Bisset

Executive Vice President – Life Sciences

Mark joined IXOM in 2020, leading our Life Sciences division and overseeing the manufacture and supply of finished products and ingredients to the food and beverage and health and personal care sectors.

Mark is a highly experienced healthcare executive in the pharmaceutical and consumer health markets. He has a history of success as a leader in both growth and turnaround environments, with extensive expertise across the Asia-Pacific region.

Mark has worked in a range of companies including global multi-national organisations, ASX-listed established and start-up entities, and privately owned enterprises, with responsibility for multiple-contract pharmaceutical and healthcare manufacturing, and development and clinical trial facilities operating across China, Japan, Australia and Southeast Asia.

Mark is a registered Pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the Victorian College of Pharmacy, has completed post-graduate business management studies at Monash University. He is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Sean Eccles

Executive Vice President – New Zealand

Sean leads IXOM’s New Zealand and global Process Cleaning Solutions businesses. He is passionate about creating a work environment that facilitates effective teamwork, high standards of quality, health and safety and a culture of respect and fairness.

Sean led the New Zealand transformation projects during the formation of IXOM, before becoming Executive Vice President – New Zealand, responsible for all commercial and operational activities for IXOM in the country.

Sean is a proven leader with over 35 years of industry experience in manufacturing and commercial roles. He began his career in technical roles, followed by management roles interfacing with customers across the water, pulp and paper, dairy, food and beverage, petrochemical and industrial sectors. He is an industrial chemist by qualification with post-graduate diplomas in Surface Coatings and Management.

Marc Roehl

Executive Vice President – Watercare

Marc has over 30 years of experience in the water industry in a variety of leadership roles in NYSE-listed and privately owned organisations within North America.

Marc has a passion for customer care and talent development to improve outcomes and experiences for all stakeholders, with significant experience in general management and full P&L responsibility. His experience includes working with private equity on standing-up a carved-out business from a large multinational; preparing for and successfully transitioning through IPO; business turnaround; and portfolio development through M&A, licensing, and business integration.

Marc has a deep background in the water treatment industry with a background in civil and environmental engineering. He currently serves on the board of The Water Council, a Milwaukee-based not-for-profit.

David Schelbach

Chief Officer – Safety, Health and Environment

David’s remit encompasses both IXOM’s corporate Safety, Health and Environment (SH&E) and Sustainability strategy, policy and governance, as well as operational risk management and front-line worker engagement. He has held this role since 2014.

David has over 20 years’ experience in large-scale manufacturing, technology management and process safety, having held regional and global sustainability and SH&E roles in Australia, Canada and the USA.

David holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Queensland, a Diploma in Work Health and Safety from Melbourne Polytechnic and is a member of the Australian Institute of Health and Safety.

Alys Easton

Chief People and Culture Officer

Alys joined IXOM as Head of Reward, HR Information Services & Payroll in 2015, and was appointed Chief People and Culture Officer in 2021.

Alys has over 20 years’ experience in human resources across a range of disciplines including reward, transformation, information services, benefits, business partnering and recruitment.

She has held HR leadership roles in several global organisations, including FTSE and NYSE listed companies, and has worked across a wide range of industries including financial services, IT, healthcare, energy and chemicals.

Alys holds a Bachelor of Economics and Sociology from Royal Holloway, University of London.

Nik Andersen

General Counsel and Company Secretary, Insurance and Enterprise Risk

Since 2015, Nik has led IXOM’s Legal and Compliance Group, including responsibility for Insurance and Enterprise Risk Management.

Nik is highly experienced in all aspects of legal and risk management in the chemicals manufacturing, trading and distribution space, having joined the organisation as Legal Counsel with Orica in 2007. Over the course of his career, Nik has specialised in competition law (including merger clearance), intellectual property, franchising, and commercial law, as well as focusing on construction, insurance, employment, shipping and environmental law and corporate strategy.

Nik holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws with Honours, and a Master of Laws. He also holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance.

Chris Cawood

Chief Information Officer

Chris joined IXOM in 2021, bringing over 30 years’ leadership and technical experience across heavy industry sectors including manufacturing, oil and gas, mining and transport.

Chris developed a passion for technology transformation and change early in his career, moving into leadership roles where he was responsible for large technology transformation projects, integrations and divestments. He has significant experience working in multicultural environments and with diverse teams.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science from Melbourne University.

Adrian Fernando

Head of Business Optimisation and Change

Adrian joined IXOM in 2023 as Head of Business Optimisation and Change. Leveraging technology, data, process automation and reporting, he is responsible for overseeing IXOM’s identification and implementation of solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness, together with organisational change management to ensure the successful and sustainable achievement of operational and strategic business goals.

Prior to joining IXOM, Adrian held numerous international senior management roles in finance, IT, strategy, organisational redesign, investor relations and program management. Over a 30+ year career, Adrian has worked in and with a wide range of businesses in diverse industries, from start-ups to large multinationals, working closely with senior executives to develop and execute company-wide transformational strategies.

Adrian holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), is a Certified Practicing Accountant and was elected to the Council of CPA Australia European Branch in 2008/09. He is also a member of the Finance Executives Institute and an accredited Kaplan-Norton Balanced Scorecard Practitioner.
